Its 13-inch contact surface and two-piece composite platform make it a specific choice—not a generic option for every hitter seeking more distance. Our 240 NTS slowpitch lineup includes this model for players who deliberately choose a full-ounce end load rather than a neutral swing.

The model uses SSP-PowerXcoil composite and a reinforced double-wall barrel design, with Louisville Slugger's end-cap construction intended to work with the barrel. The two-piece layout helps distinguish the feel from a stiff one-piece slowpitch bat; the full-ounce loading is what dominates the swing-weight decision.

Weight increments are another distinctive detail. Listed variants are 25.5, 26.5 and 27.5 ounces in a 34-inch length. Players who swing a heavy end-loaded bat well may favor that mix, but those who struggle to keep the barrel on time should not assume an extra ounce of end loading automatically improves contact.

If you monitor the stiffness of a composite bat after repeated use, our guide to how to compression test a bat explains why calibration and proper placement matter.
