It is intended for fastpitch hitters who can handle that weight without sacrificing reliable timing and barrel control.

Three Step Composite Barrel

The Three Step Barrel Technology is designed to provide a responsive hitting surface over a generous contact area. Composite barrel feel can change with use, but no brand technology replaces sound mechanics and consistent barrel contact. Our bat rolling versus natural break-in comparison explains ways composite barrels can change with use.

Two-Piece Connection and TPU Collar

The two-piece construction and Zero Loss TPU collar aim to influence vibration and energy transfer between the barrel and handle. This feel can appeal to hitters seeking a different response than a stiff one-piece bat. For context on other barrel-and-handle combinations, see our fastpitch bat construction comparison.

Tuned Balance and Blast Smart Knob

Rawlings lists Tuned Balance Performance and Blast Smart Knob among this model's features. The balanced swing profile is intended to promote predictable barrel delivery. A heavier nominal drop is not automatically more powerful in real use if it causes late swings.
