Its -11 drop is designed to help a player maintain barrel speed without moving immediately into the heavier feel of a -10 version.

Three Step Barrel Technology

Rawlings identifies its Three Step Barrel construction as a key feature of the Mantra Plus. The design targets a responsive composite hitting surface and a forgiving contact area. The best result still comes from squaring the ball consistently. To understand the process separately from the marketing claims, see our guide to composite bat break-in hits.

Zero Loss TPU Collar

The Zero Loss TPU collar is positioned in the connected two-piece system to influence impact feel and energy transfer. Players comparing one-piece and two-piece fastpitch bats should pay attention to both feedback and comfort. Our fastpitch bat construction comparison shows how several other models approach that balance.

Tuned Balance Performance and Smart Knob

A tuned-balanced construction is intended to assist controlled acceleration of the barrel. The product information also lists a Blast Smart Knob; confirm the exact included hardware and any sensor functionality before assuming a connected device is supplied.

How the -11 Compares With the -10

At the same length, the -11 is nominally one ounce lighter than the -10. That can help hitters who are still building strength or prioritize fast swing adjustments; players who consistently handle the extra ounce may prefer the -10 for its different weight feel.
