2024 Mizuno CRBN PRO B25 -3 BBCOR: Balanced Two-Piece Carbon
The 2024 Mizuno CRBN PRO B25 (340658) is a 2⅝-inch, two-piece composite BBCOR baseball bat with a balance-oriented barrel design. Instead of emphasizing a pronounced end load, Mizuno built the B25 around a combination of barrel coverage and manageable swing inertia. It suits a hitter looking for the response of composite and some separation between the handle and barrel, rather than the sharp, unified impact sensation of a one-piece alloy bat.
Composite CORTECH and Black Onyx Carbon
Mizuno's Composite CORTECH barrel is intended to broaden the effective hitting area while keeping the bat's moment of inertia manageable. Black Onyx Carbon and cylinder-seamed construction support the composite structure. The design can give a hitter more confidence covering different pitch locations, but its benefits only matter when the player delivers the barrel accurately. A large hitting area is not a substitute for timing or a guarantee of extra distance.
Dual Frequency Damper: More Than a Standard Connector
The Dual Frequency Damper combines materials to manage vibration between the carbon handle and the barrel. Mizuno pairs it with a stiff carbon handle and Speed-Helix grip. Those details create a particular contact feel: less abrupt feedback than some rigid one-piece designs, without assuming that more handle flex is always desirable. Players who dislike significant handle movement can compare this setup with conventional two-piece composites before choosing.
Choosing 32, 33 or 34 Inches
