2026 Axe Dabacle 13" Balanced 240 NTS/USA Slowpitch Softball Bat: L193Q (AXE Handle)

2026 Axe Dabacle Balanced: Dual-Category Slowpitch With the Original Axe Handle

The 2026 Axe Dabacle L193Q combines a 13-inch Hyperflex composite barrel, two-piece frame and balanced swing profile. It is the dual-category model in Axe’s slowpitch lineup, with factory markings intended for both 240 NTS and USA/ASA playing formats. Unlike the separately offered end-loaded Dabacle, the balanced edition is intended for hitters who value an easily redirected barrel and consistent placement more than a pronounced barrel-heavy sensation.

Hyperflex Barrel and a Two-Piece Response

Axe engineers the Hyperflex hitting surface for responsive contact over an extended 13-inch area. The two-piece construction helps moderate vibration before it reaches the hands. A longer barrel creates more physical contact surface than a compact 12-inch design, but that does not mean every mishit performs like a clean center-barrel strike. Reliable timing and placement remain the foundation of good contact.

What the Axe Handle Changes

The original asymmetrical Axe Handle encourages a consistent, ergonomic hand position and feels different from the brand’s Flared Handle version. The Hyperwhip endcap is intended to limit unnecessary weight toward the tip, while Hypertack grip provides traction. Those details make the original-handle Dabacle especially relevant to players already comfortable with Axe’s distinctive lower-hand shape.

Choosing 26 or 27 Ounces

Both currently stocked sizes are 34 inches, at nominal 26 and 27 ounces. Although the balance is relatively neutral, an extra ounce can still change swing inertia and timing on inside pitches. Compare the USA/ASA slowpitch bat collection and 240 NTS slowpitch bats for other constructions. Factory markings apply only to the stock model; verify the rules of the specific event before play.

240 NTS Slowpitch: Stocked Weight and Hitter Fit

The 2026 Axe Dabacle 13" Balanced 240 NTS/USA uses balanced or midloaded weighting with a 13" barrel. Current stocked options: 34 inch / 26 oz, 34 inch / 27 oz. Every option is a 34-inch slowpitch configuration. Compare weight distribution and timing through the hitting zone rather than assuming the most end-loaded option is automatically the best match.
