Description
2026 Axe Disturbance Kyle Pearson Senior: A 13-Inch Loaded SSUSA Bat
The 2026 Axe Disturbance Kyle Pearson senior edition (L177QP-FLR) has a 13-inch composite barrel and a half-ounce end-loaded swing. This is a senior slowpitch model, distinct from the USA/ASA Disturbance sold under a similar name. Players should establish their league category before comparing exit-velocity claims across the family: senior equipment is designed for a separate playing environment and should never be assumed interchangeable with 240 NTS or USA/ASA bats.
Responsive Barrel with Deliberate Loading
The 13-inch hitting surface provides more physical contact area than a short 12-inch barrel. The added end load emphasizes mass toward the tip, which may appeal to an experienced hitter who is comfortable getting the barrel moving early. A player who tends to pull off the ball or arrive late on inside pitching may instead benefit from a balanced senior model. Neither additional barrel length nor load guarantees harder contact by itself.
Connection and Flared-Handle Feel
Axe uses a composite construction intended to deliver a responsive senior hitting surface, combined with a Flared Handle profile. That hand shape encourages a stable lower-hand position without the pronounced asymmetry of the original Axe Handle. The grip and barrel-end weighting also influence the way the bat accelerates. Players should judge the contact sensation over repeated swings rather than assuming a signature edition automatically fits every hitter.
Choosing 26 or 27 Ounces
Both stocked options are 34 inches, in 26- and 27-ounce weights. Because the barrel is end loaded, the extra ounce may feel substantial during late-game at-bats. Compare related senior slowpitch softball bats and other slowpitch bats for different loading profiles. Use this bat only in a playing category that permits its original factory specification.
Modification Notice
Factory markings and any original certification apply only to an unmodified bat. Shaved or rolled bats have NO WARRANTY and cannot be used in sanctioned events. Modified bats must not be represented as retaining factory certification or manufacturer warranty. Customers must follow their league and tournament rules.
