Description
2026 Axe Disturbance End Loaded: 13-Inch USA/ASA Bat With a Flared Handle
The 2026 Axe Disturbance End Loaded (L155Q-E-FLR) takes the 13-inch composite Disturbance platform and adds a half-ounce end-loaded profile. Compared with the balanced version, the barrel carries more of the bat’s swing mass. That can appeal to a hitter who likes noticeable momentum through contact, but it also demands reliable timing on pitches inside. It is a USA/ASA model rather than the separate Kyle Pearson senior Disturbance.
Hyperflex Composite and Two-Piece Construction
Axe’s Hyperflex barrel is engineered to produce a responsive hitting area, while the two-piece connection is intended to manage harsh contact feedback. A 13-inch barrel gives physical room for contact at multiple locations, but that should not be interpreted as a promise that every miss-hit will perform the same. The hitter’s strength and ability to deliver the loaded barrel remain decisive.
Flared Grip Versus Original Axe Handle
The Flared Handle provides a gentler, familiar transition at the bottom hand. A Hyperwhip endcap contributes to mass distribution, and Hypertack grip supplies traction. This equipment choice can be meaningful for players switching from round-handled bats. The handle configuration and end-loaded weighting should be evaluated together because a grip that feels good in the hands still needs a manageable barrel.
Who Fits This Particular Size?
The currently stocked SKU is labeled 34 inches and 25 ounces. That can be an interesting lighter overall weight with a half-ounce end-loaded sensation. Players who have difficulty redirecting a loaded bat should compare the balanced Disturbance. Browse our USA/ASA slowpitch softball bats and the broader slowpitch bat collection for alternatives.
Modification Notice
Factory markings and any original certification apply only to an unmodified bat. Shaved or rolled bats have NO WARRANTY and cannot be used in sanctioned events. Modified bats must not be represented as retaining factory certification or manufacturer warranty. Customers must follow their league and tournament rules.
Axe USA slowpitch: current weight and barrel options
This Disturbance model has end-loaded weighting and a 13" barrel. In-stock 34-inch configurations: 34 inch / 25 oz. Compare the selected ounces and handle feel against the player's ability to maintain timing and solid contact, rather than assuming a heavier barrel always performs better.
