Description
2026 Axe Fury Calibur Blood Axe: A Limited-Edition 12-Inch Loaded Composite
The 2026 Axe Fury Calibur Blood Axe (L154QH-FLR) is a specially styled Fury Bravo with a 12-inch composite barrel and half-ounce end load. Its Calibur presentation draws on the Excalibur sword theme; the original release was limited to 500 serial-numbered bats. That collector appeal is real, but a hitter should still choose it for the short, loaded barrel profile and two-piece connection. It is not the same loading specification as the full-ounce 12-inch Fury Bravo.
Hyperflex Barrel in a Compact Hitting Area
Axe uses Hyperflex composite technology to create a responsive hitting surface. The 12-inch length gives a shorter, more concentrated contact area than a 13-inch model, while the half-ounce load creates some barrel presence without moving into the more aggressive O.G. KP or Zane Migues territory. The important fit test is whether the hitter can consistently find that shorter barrel under actual pitching conditions.
Two-Piece Feel and a Flared Handle
The two-piece composite construction is intended to moderate vibration, and the Flared Handle supplies a familiar transition at the lower hand. Axe pairs it with Hypertack grip and a Hyperwhip endcap. The result may feel more comfortable on off-center contact than a rigid one-piece bat. The design does not guarantee a particular exit speed simply because the edition is limited.
Choosing the Stocked 25-Ounce Bat
Currently this listing carries a 34-inch, 25-ounce option. For a player who appreciates a short barrel and moderate end load, it may provide a manageable alternative to the much more loaded signature editions. Check the actual stock and product condition before ordering, especially when collecting a limited release. Browse other 240 NTS slowpitch bats or slowpitch softball models for different handle and loading choices.
240 NTS Slowpitch: Weight and Barrel Selection
This Axe Fury model has a 12" barrel and offers a loaded swing profile. Current in-stock weights: 34 inch / 25 oz. With 34-inch slowpitch construction, select the weight that supports repeatable contact and comfortable barrel acceleration rather than assuming the heaviest option is the best.
