Description
2026 Mizuno Logan Rogers: Shorter 12.5-Inch End-Loaded Slowpitch Profile
The 2026 Mizuno Logan Rogers signature slowpitch bat (340727) features a 12.5-inch barrel and an end-loaded swing profile. It fills a middle position between the shorter 12-inch Terry Lambright and Mizuno's 13-inch Andy Purcell Crush. That half-inch difference does not determine performance on its own, but players who prefer a more compact hitting surface may notice the change in how the barrel feels moving through contact.
What a 12.5-Inch Barrel Changes
Barrel length influences both the physical area available for contact and how the player perceives mass along the hitting end. A hitter who repeatedly strikes the same portion of the barrel may prefer the defined feel of a shorter design. Another hitter who needs more margin on pitches toward the handle or end may favor more barrel length. The Logan Rogers should be evaluated by its actual 12.5-inch profile rather than treating every Mizuno signature bat as the same construction with different graphics.
End-Loaded Swing and Player Fit
The Logan Rogers is offered in 34-inch versions weighing a nominal 25, 26 and 27 ounces. With end-loaded weighting, a 27-ounce bat can be especially demanding when a hitter has to get the barrel started quickly on an inside pitch. A player who consistently maintains a compact path and extends through the ball may like the extra barrel presence; someone who gets late can often benefit from a lower ounce weight instead.
Comparing Signature Mizuno Bats
The most useful comparison is with other Mizuno barrel lengths and loading profiles, not simply the signature name. If you're deciding between a longer-barrel Crush and this more compact option, start with your usual contact location and ability to adjust to pitch placement. Browse 240 NTS slowpitch softball bats or our broader slowpitch bat collection. The guide to understanding compression numbers explains barrel measurements without treating them as guarantees of hitting distance.
Modification Notice
Factory markings and certification apply only to an unmodified bat. Shaved or rolled bats have NO WARRANTY and cannot be used in sanctioned events. Modified bats must not be represented as retaining their original certification or manufacturer warranty; customers are responsible for their league and event rules.
