Description
Pure Orange Nuke: longer barrel, aggressive load
The Boombah Pure Orange Nuke M3B0-6146 uses a 13-inch composite barrel and a one-ounce Nuke Load in a two-piece frame. It occupies a different position from the 12-inch Red Nuke: the longer barrel offers a little more length for useful contact while preserving the unmistakable barrel-forward swing. This is an option for experienced slowpitch hitters who can keep the head moving without losing their ability to adjust late.
X25 composite and incremental loading
The model-specific specifications identify X25 barrel technology, incremental loading and a gloss BTG textured surface. Boombah's incremental loading system is designed to make swing weighting more consistent between nominal weights. These are construction details, not promises of a particular batted-ball speed. Composite response still depends on how and where the ball is struck, along with the condition of the barrel over time.
Two-piece feedback and a stiff handle
A stiff Pro Handle connects to the barrel through a dampened junction. The two-piece design can filter some of the unpleasant sensation of off-center hits without aiming for a loose handle. Players accustomed to an extremely flexible handle should expect a firmer response. Conversely, a one-piece loyalist may appreciate the comparatively direct feel while gaining some comfort from the vibration-control element.
What a one-ounce end load changes
A one-ounce end load can help a strong hitter feel momentum through contact, but it also increases the challenge of correcting the barrel path once the swing has begun. The longer 13-inch hitting surface does not eliminate that tradeoff. If your game depends on quick hands and changing direction at the last moment, compare the Orange Nuke with a half-ounce Boom Load or balanced alternative before committing.
Current selection and shopping fit
The only currently stocked variant is 34 inches and 25 ounces. That static weight may sound light, but a pronounced end load can still create a demanding swing. The 240 NTS slowpitch collection includes different loading options, while slowpitch softball bats offers broader comparisons. Choose by your repeatable bat speed and preferred contact location.
Avoiding misleading performance shortcuts
The barrel's design should be considered alongside compression, timing and contact rather than treated as a guaranteed home-run formula. Our article about the correct bat compression testing process helps explain what measurements can establish. No rolling, shaving, or other aftermarket service is automatically part of this stock-bat purchase.
Modification Notice
Factory markings and any original equipment claims apply only to the bat in its unmodified factory condition. Shaved or Rolled Bats have NO WARRANTY and cannot be used in any sanctioned event. Modified equipment must not be represented as retaining its original certification or warranty. Customers are responsible for checking the rules of any league, tournament, or event before use.
Boombah Pure Orange Nuke: stocked 240 NTS slowpitch weights
This Boombah Pure design features a 13" barrel with a pronounced end-loaded swing feel. In-stock 34-inch weights: 34 inch / 25 oz. Compare the exact ounce selection with the player's preferred barrel control; additional end loading can change timing through the hitting zone.
