*Equipment Modification Disclosure
Bat shaving permanently alters the structural integrity of a bat and makes the bat illegal for use in any sanctioned baseball or softball league, including but not limited to USSSA, USA Softball/ASA, NSA, ISA, NCAA, NFHS, Little League, and similar governing bodies. By purchasing or requesting this service, the customer acknowledges that the modified bat cannot be used in sanctioned competition and assumes full responsibility for how the bat is used after modification. Modified bats may also void manufacturer warranties and league certifications. These services are not intended for use in regulated league or tournament play. By purchasing a modified bat, the customer confirms they are aware of these restrictions and agrees to hold the service provider harmless for any misuse.
Every order comes with Before and After Compression numbers.

Description
2024 Mizuno F24 CRBN1 -11: One-Piece X-Zone Fastpitch Composite
The 2024 Mizuno F24 CRBN1 -11 (340700) is designed for players seeking quick barrel acceleration in a one-piece fastpitch composite bat. It is not the same configuration as the two-piece CRBN2: the CRBN1 uses an uninterrupted frame and places greater emphasis on direct contact feedback. The -11 nominal drop can suit developing hitters who value speed and accuracy over simply selecting a heavier bat.
X-Zone Barrel Design and Black Onyx Carbon
Mizuno's X-Zone technology changes composite fiber angles across ten barrel zones to shape the contact response. Combined with Black Onyx Carbon and double-wall construction, it gives the CRBN1 a distinct barrel design. An Optimized End Cap contributes to the intended feel and sound. None of these technologies eliminates the importance of square contact and consistent timing.
Anti-Shock Taper and Grip Comfort
Because this is a one-piece design, impact feedback can feel more immediate than on a bat with a separate barrel-to-handle joint. Mizuno's Anti-Shock taper is intended to reduce uncomfortable vibration while retaining that direct connection. The Speed-Helix grip adds comfort at the hands. Hitters who like a connected bat but dislike excessive sting may find this combination worth comparing with the softer two-piece CRBN2.
Choosing the -11 Size
A 28-inch CRBN1 -11 is nominally 17 ounces, while the 31-inch version weighs 20 ounces. That range helps developing hitters find a size they can control on inside pitches without losing reach on the outside corner. Bigger is not automatically better if it delays the swing. Explore other fastpitch softball bats to compare drop weights and handle construction.
Modification Notice
Any factory marking, certification or manufacturer warranty applies only to an unmodified bat. Shaved or rolled bats have no manufacturer warranty and cannot be used in sanctioned events. Modified bats must not be represented as retaining original certification or warranty; buyers must follow their league and event rules.
