*Equipment Modification Disclosure
Bat shaving permanently alters the structural integrity of a bat and makes the bat illegal for use in any sanctioned baseball or softball league, including but not limited to USSSA, USA Softball/ASA, NSA, ISA, NCAA, NFHS, Little League, and similar governing bodies. By purchasing or requesting this service, the customer acknowledges that the modified bat cannot be used in sanctioned competition and assumes full responsibility for how the bat is used after modification. Modified bats may also void manufacturer warranties and league certifications. These services are not intended for use in regulated league or tournament play. By purchasing a modified bat, the customer confirms they are aware of these restrictions and agrees to hold the service provider harmless for any misuse.
Every order comes with Before and After Compression numbers.

Description
The 2025 Mizuno F25 CRBN PRO -8 Fastpitch Softball Bat (340683) brings full carbon-fiber barrel, Pearl finish and -8 length-to-weight ratio to a fastpitch bat built for players seeking a performance-oriented composite design. Its listed size options are 33"/25 oz, 34"/26 oz.
Barrel Construction and Swing Feel
The F25 CRBN PRO uses a carbon-fiber barrel designed for fastpitch hitting. Its Pearl appearance and -8 drop set this version apart from the lighter -9, -10, and -11 options. Hitters moving to a -8 should assess whether they can maintain their normal swing tempo and square contact; a heavier bat does not automatically translate into harder hits.
Choosing the Right Bat Weight
The advertised length-to-weight ratio is a starting point, not a substitute for evaluating swing speed, comfort and barrel control. Players should choose the size that allows a repeatable, controlled swing without sacrificing contact consistency late in a game.

Modification Notice
These bats were originally manufactured with fastpitch softball markings. Once rolled, shaved, or otherwise performance-modified, they may no longer be eligible for sanctioned play. Certification marks may be removed, obscured, or concealed before return as required. Big Dawg Bats does not claim that modified bats are approved, certified, legal, or compliant for sanctioned play.
