Description

2026 Easton Tantrum ESU6TNTSL: The 12-Inch Two-Piece Loaded Model

The 2026 Easton Tantrum ESU6TNTSL is the compact-barrel two-piece loaded bat in the 240 NTS Tantrum lineup. Its actual manufacturer-specified barrel length is 12 inches, not 13 inches. That distinction matters because Easton also sells a separate 13-inch loaded two-piece model, ESU6TNTL. The shorter ESU6TNTSL targets players who prefer a more concentrated barrel feel and a distinct connection between the barrel and handle.

What the 12-Inch G4S G4orce Barrel Changes

Easton's G4S G4orce composite technology is designed to vary flex across multiple barrel regions. On this model it is applied to a 12-inch, 2¼-inch-diameter hitting surface. A shorter barrel can feel quicker to some hitters and makes the bat's loaded mass more noticeable, but it offers less longitudinal hitting area than the 13-inch alternative. Players who routinely make contact across a wider portion of the barrel may prefer the longer model.

The loaded swing profile shifts the sensation toward the barrel rather than balancing weight evenly throughout the frame. That may appeal to hitters who generate sufficient hand speed to let the bat carry through contact. The tradeoff is timing: a loaded bat will not help if the hitter cannot get the barrel to the pitch.

Flex 180 Handle and Two-Piece Connection

Unlike the one-piece ESU6TNT1L, this version uses a two-piece composite frame with Easton's Flex 180 handle. The separate connection is intended to smooth out vibration and create a different feel through contact. The handle offers a flex profile designed to complement the loaded barrel, while the Power Boost Soft Knob provides cushioning and leverage at the bottom hand. Hitters who want a firmer, immediate response may prefer one-piece construction instead.

Who Should Pick ESU6TNTSL?

Consider this model if you like short-barrel bats, a pronounced loaded swing and a more isolated two-piece feel. It is especially important to compare it with ESU6TNTL: the latter has a 13-inch barrel and a different size lineup, despite the similar model code. The current store variants for ESU6TNTSL are 26, 27 and 28 ounces, all in stock at the time of this description update.

Specifications: ESU6TNTSL; 2026 Tantrum; 12-inch G4S G4orce composite barrel; two-piece construction; Flex 180 handle; Power Boost Soft Knob; loaded swing weight; 2¼-inch barrel diameter; in-stock 26, 27 and 28 oz options.

240 NTS Slowpitch: Weight and Barrel Selection

This Easton Tantrum model offers a loaded swing profile. Current in-stock weights: 26oz, 27oz, 28oz. With 34-inch slowpitch construction, select the weight that supports repeatable contact and comfortable barrel acceleration rather than assuming the heaviest option is the best.
