Description
The 2026 Justin Lutheran Genesis WL2600801 is a full-ounce Powerload built for players who already know they like a heavily loaded barrel. Its 13-inch contact surface and two-piece composite platform make it a specific choice—not a generic option for every hitter seeking more distance. Our 240 NTS slowpitch lineup includes this model for players who deliberately choose a full-ounce end load rather than a neutral swing.
The model uses SSP-PowerXcoil composite and a reinforced double-wall barrel design, with Louisville Slugger's end-cap construction intended to work with the barrel. The two-piece layout helps distinguish the feel from a stiff one-piece slowpitch bat; the full-ounce loading is what dominates the swing-weight decision.
Weight increments are another distinctive detail. Listed variants are 25.5, 26.5 and 27.5 ounces in a 34-inch length. Players who swing a heavy end-loaded bat well may favor that mix, but those who struggle to keep the barrel on time should not assume an extra ounce of end loading automatically improves contact.
If you monitor the stiffness of a composite bat after repeated use, our guide to how to compression test a bat explains why calibration and proper placement matter. Readings must be collected consistently before they can be compared.

WL2600801 Frequently Asked Questions
What does full-ounce Powerload mean?
The loading is concentrated toward the far end of the barrel and will feel more aggressive than a moderate half-ounce end load.
Why are weights listed at 25.5, 26.5 and 27.5 ounces?
Those are the actual variants on this product rather than the whole-ounce range used on several other Genesis models.
Is this a good choice for a hitter who wants maximum control?
Not necessarily. It targets hitters comfortable with substantial barrel mass; the best fit depends on timing and mechanics.
