Bat Shaving Levels
Minimal Spec- 75% of a normal shave.
Normal Spec- A consistent shave balancing durability and distance.
Aggressive Spec- A little more of an aggressive shave which sacrifices some durability.
BigDawg MAX- Most extreme Shave sacrificing durability. Do Not use in temps below 75 degrees.
Description
The KP23 Maxload is built around a clear end-loaded feel. It makes the most sense for hitters with enough hand speed to control extra barrel presence and use that mass through contact. In practical terms, the player should feel the difference in the first few swings if the profile is a good match.
How It Swings
The loaded weighting shifts more of the swing presence toward the barrel. That can help a strong hitter carry momentum through contact, but it will expose a hitter who is already late.
Contact Feel
Construction changes how a bat communicates contact. Some hitters want a firm, immediate response; others perform better with more separation and a smoother handle feel.
