Description
The 2022 Easton Ghost -8 Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP22GH8) features Double Barrel Sonic Comp composite in a two-piece composite design. This fastpitch softball model combines an identifiable swing-weight profile with ConneXion and 1.8mm cushioned grip, giving hitters specific construction features to compare before choosing their next bat.
Barrel Technology and Construction
This closeout Ghost combines Easton's Double Barrel system with Sonic Comp material. The -8 drop is a heavier-weight option generally suited to players who already maintain reliable bat speed with more overall mass.
Barrel response and feel depend on construction and use. The presence of a premium composite material does not guarantee any particular exit velocity, distance gain or compression reading.
Handle and Swing Control
The bat features ConneXion and 1.8mm cushioned grip. Compared with a bat using a different handle or connection layout, this can change the feedback experienced at ball impact. Players should prioritize a controlled swing path, repeatable contact, and manageable weight over selecting the heaviest or longest model available.
Choosing the Right Model
Available sizes include 33"/25 oz, 34"/26 oz. The best bat is one that the player can swing with the same control late in a game as during batting practice. A nominal length-to-weight ratio is useful for sizing, but actual swing feel also depends on balance.

Certification marks may be removed, obscured, or concealed before return as required. Big Dawg Bats does not claim that modified bats are approved, certified, legal, or compliant for sanctioned play.
