Bat Shaving Levels
Minimal Spec- 75% of a normal shave.
Normal Spec- A consistent shave balancing durability and distance.
Aggressive Spec- A little more of an aggressive shave which sacrifices some durability.
BigDawg MAX- Most extreme Shave sacrificing durability. Do Not use in temps below 75 degrees.

The Suncoast Melee Superload2 12-inch is a two-piece senior slowpitch bat with a compact barrel and a loaded swing profile. The name tells you what kind of hitter Suncoast is targeting: someone who wants noticeable barrel weight, but who would rather have the smoother feel of a two-piece construction than the rigid response of a one-piece loaded bat.
Compact Barrel With a Smoother Connection
The 12-inch barrel should feel quick and direct for hitters who already locate the sweet spot well. Shorter barrels often appeal to players who do not need extra hitting-surface length and instead want the barrel to feel easier to position through the zone. The loaded weighting keeps the bat from feeling overly light, giving stronger hitters something to work against through contact.
The two-piece design is what separates this profile from a one-piece power bat. It should take some of the sharpness out of the handle on imperfect contact while still letting the hitter feel the barrel accelerate.
