The Combat Rodeo SPEC-A1 is one of the more distinctive versions of Combat’s popular one-piece alloy SPEC-A1 platform. This limited burnt-orange Rodeo edition was produced as part of a 5,000-bat numbered release and combines Combat’s aggressive barrel design with the fast, direct feel of a one-piece alloy bat.

Combat SPEC-A1 Performance

The SPEC-A1 earned a lot of attention because it combines a relatively balanced swing with a large alloy barrel and the stiff feedback many hitters prefer from a one-piece construction.

Unlike a composite barrel, the alloy barrel does not require a traditional composite break-in period. It delivers its characteristic feel and response immediately.

Combat describes the SPEC-A1 as using its SFX Barrel Technology, designed to create a longer barrel and larger effective hitting area while maintaining a fast swing profile.

Balanced One-Piece Alloy Feel

One of the biggest differences between the SPEC-A1 and heavier power-oriented bats is how quickly the A1 can move through the zone.
