Description
The 2026 Genesis Splatter WL2601301 uses a compact 12-inch barrel with balanced weighting. Although its graphics make a strong first impression, the mechanical appeal is for a hitter who prefers a shorter contact surface and easy-to-manage weight distribution rather than a heavy end-loaded barrel. Its balanced short-barrel setup gives players another distinct feel option among our 240 NTS slowpitch bats.
The bat is built with SSP-PowerXcoil composite, a reinforced double-wall barrel and QWK 2.0 connection construction. Louisville Slugger also lists its grip and knob components for the model. In a two-piece bat, the connection and barrel system both affect feel; neither guarantees a specific increase in distance.
Selecting this bat should begin with a preference for balanced swing weighting. The four listed weights allow hitters to tune overall mass, while retaining the 12-inch barrel profile. A 25-ounce version may be easier to move than a 28-ounce version even though both remain classified as balanced.
For customers interested in measuring how a composite barrel changes after use, what compression testers actually measure explains the limits of compression equipment and why changes in a number should be interpreted carefully.

WL2601301 Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Splatter a Maxload?
No. This is the balanced 12-inch Splatter configuration.
Does a 12-inch barrel have less usable contact area than a 13-inch one?
It has a shorter stated barrel length, but the actual effective hitting zone depends on construction and the hitter's contact pattern.
Does balanced mean there is no difference between the weights?
No. Total physical weight still changes from 25 through 28 ounces.
