Description
The 2026 Genesis Ironman WL2600901 is Louisville Slugger's 13-inch balanced two-piece option in this group. Its even swing weighting makes it relevant to hitters who want a longer contact area without a deliberately barrel-heavy load. That balance-first design positions the Ironman as a control-oriented choice within our 240 NTS slowpitch bat collection.
The Ironman uses SSP-PowerXcoil composite, a reinforced double-wall barrel and a two-piece connection design. The QWK 2.0 connection helps manage what a player feels through the handle at impact, while the 13-inch barrel serves hitters who value broad coverage rather than a short-barrel profile.
Balanced swing weighting still requires selecting the right total weight. This bat is listed at 25, 26, 27 and 28 ounces, and a 28-ounce balanced swing can be harder to control than a lighter version. The important question is whether the bat can be kept on plane consistently through game-speed pitches.
Stiffness figures sometimes appear in discussions of composite slowpitch bats, but they are not direct measurements of batted-ball distance. See what compression testers actually measure for the distinction between measuring the barrel and measuring the actual hit.

WL2600901 Frequently Asked Questions
Is the 2026 Ironman end-loaded?
No. This is the balanced model, without an intentional Maxload or Powerload bias.
What kind of hitter benefits from a balanced 13-inch barrel?
A player who values broad contact coverage and repeatable barrel control may prefer that combination.
Does a higher compression result always mean a better bat?
No. Compression measures stiffness; it is not a complete performance score and must be considered with design and test conditions.
