Description
The Ruckus Resurgence SRRUSL12 is the short-barrel, full-ounce Super Load option for 2026. Instead of prioritizing an easy-to-redirect swing, this model concentrates more of its feel toward the end of the 12-inch barrel. It is aimed at experienced slowpitch hitters who intentionally seek a pronounced barrel-heavy setup. Its aggressive swing profile stands out among the 240 NTS slowpitch bat models available for players who favor noticeable end loading.
The listed build is two-piece composite, with Suncoast's OPTI-DURA materials and UFC barrel platform. A narrower Max Speed Handle and the Stick & Spin tackified surface are part of the Resurgence feature set. Those features should not be confused with a guarantee that an already-heavy swing will become easier to control.
A 1-ounce load is a meaningful distinction, not a decorative label. For a player already comfortable with end-loaded bats, the short barrel can deliver a compact hitting profile paired with substantial barrel presence. For a player fighting late contact, a Super Load is not automatically the right fix. Our shaved 240 NTS slowpitch bats are listed separately for use where modifications are allowed; that category does not change the factory-stock condition or eligibility of this Super Load.
Big Dawg Bats' what compression testers actually measure guide clarifies what an instrument measures if you assess barrel stiffness during the bat's life. The tester cannot tell a customer whether a Super Load suits their swing; that decision depends on timing, bat path and consistent contact.

SRRUSL12 Frequently Asked Questions
What does Super Load mean on SRRUSL12?
The model is listed with a full-ounce load concentrated toward the barrel, giving it more pronounced swing weight than balanced or half-ounce alternatives.
Is this a good starting point for someone new to end loads?
Usually a lighter-feeling configuration is easier to evaluate first. The Super Load is aimed at players who already know they prefer barrel-heavy setups.
How long is the barrel?
Twelve inches, which makes this a compact-barrel design despite its aggressive loading.
